About the job

With us, you will work in an accredited laboratory with varied tasks and close collaboration with different professions. At the laboratory in Falkenberg, four biomedical analysts currently work, and we are now looking for another colleague to strengthen our laboratory operations.

An important part of our operations is sample collection, and we receive patients of all ages. As a biomedical analyst with us, you will work with both capillary and venous blood sampling, glucose tolerance tests, and pediatric sampling. We perform routine analyses in hematology, point-of-care testing, and manage sample submissions from our healthcare partners in the region and municipality on a daily basis.

Since we are a small unit with few employees, we work as a team in most tasks, and it is therefore important that you, as an applicant, have the competence and sense to ensure that we all together provide the patient with a good experience and contribute to safe and quality care throughout the analysis chain, from sample collection to test results.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed biomedical analyst or equivalent.

As a person, you are social, service-oriented, and flexible. You are calm, work in a structured manner, and follow current guidelines and routines. You are meticulous, quality-conscious, and have a good ability to prioritize your work efficiently and safely for patients. We also value a very good ability to collaborate — both within your own professional team and together with other professions. It is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Personal suitability is of great importance for this position.

Application and employment

The position is a permanent employment at 100% with a weekly working time of 40 hours, only daytime Monday to Friday. The work location is Falkenberg.
